TIMED
BELT FEEDER:
The
timed belt feeder enables you to feed blanks (CD/DVD covers)
to a register section and transport them to the placer section.
It processes folding carton material and corrugated board,
up to 6 mm thick. The timed belt feeder has a vibrating device
to assist in separating the blanks, and a programmable vacuum
system insuring positive, consistant feeding at high speed.
OPTIONAL
FOLDER STATION
This station is a mechanical system which folds flaps after
the Timed Belt Feeder Station, just prior to hot glue application.
HOT MELT GLUING STATION
The DigiStar CD/DVD Pick & Place machines have an electronic
hot melt gluing system consisting of:
- One
generator with PID regulator, temperature precision +/-0,5°
- Glue
extrusion guns with self-cleaning device and precise glue
cutting (the quantity depends on the option chosen).
- One
PC regulator with encoder for automatic speed compensation.
This
system applies points of glue on the CD covers, before the
trays are placed.
The guns are mounted on the machine according to the options
chosen.
PICK AND PLACE MODULES
The number of Pick and Place Modules to be ordered with your
DigiStar is dependent upon your product mix and the maximum
number of items that you require to be placed in your finished
product.
The
placers are composed of four rotary units with suckers and
venturis.
Each prehensile part is linked to a patented mechanical system,
which facilitates the "picking and placing" of the
products you are packaging.
This
feeder can use different magazines, detailed below:
PICK
& PLACE FEED MAGAZINE OPTION 1 - TRAYS/COVERS MAGAZINE
The tray magazine is easily fitted at the patented feeder.
It feeds the trays, and is adjusted according to the trays
sizes.
The tray magazine is composed of:
- 2 motorized belts with sequential advance, per stream.
- One mechanical rectification system which accurately positions
the products in each magazine, before being picked by the
suckers.
For delicate CD covers, this magazine can be utilized instead
of the timed belt feeder.
The covers are picked by suckers and directly placed on
the vacuum belt.
The magazine is easily adjusted in all the directions, according
to the covers size, while the machine is running.
PICK & PLACE FEED MAGAZINE OPTION 2 - CD MAGAZINE
This magazine can be installed instead of the trays magazine
in each feeders station and enables you to pickand
place CDs and/or DVDs. If a CD magazine is fitted
on the machine a tray magazine is also required.
PICK
& PLACE FEED MAGAZINE OPTION 3 - STANDARD MAGAZINE
The "standard" magazine is constructed with a
set of guides which permit feeding of a variety of forms
and materials (PVC, printed material including paperboard,
sachets and so on).
DELIVERY
The
delivery is continuous, with homogeneous stacks. A counter,
with operator selectable batch quanitities, guarantees accurate
quantites is each stack pile. Personnel
can easily inspect product quality as the finished product
is delivery for case packing.
The out feed belt is split into two separate, independently
driven aprons. These aprons can be run individually or together
for large single stream covers.
STACKER
The stacker includes a register system which facilitates product
handling.
